ESP restrictions on DMARC reports, lack of SPF, and overreliance on DKIM cause real estate email deliverability problems.

Just had a chat with a "deliverability expert" from an ESP catering to the Real Estate industry 🙃 They insist on implementing a provided DMARC policy with a reject mode for a wildcard domain. This seems like a smarter choice compared to SendGrid's "p=none" suggestion, but:
1. They want me to use their RUA and RUF for DMARC reports exclusively. If I try adding my own emails to get copies of these reports, their system won't acknowledge my DMARC setup 😐
2. Their setup lacks an SPF record for wildcards or return paths, and they brush off concerns with "DKIM pass is enough."
Clients report email deliverability issues tied to this ESP to me, but they are uncooperative and unwilling to work on a fix. Why?
