Google Postmaster Updates Spam Complaint Visualization

Google has just updated how spam complaints are interpreted in the Google Postmaster Tool, making it easier to check if newsletters comply with sender policies.

Currently, the spam complaint rate must stay below 0.3%, meaning only 3 out of 1,000 recipients should mark your emails as spam.

The new graph shows two lines: yellow for the recommended threshold and red for policy violation. Everyone now must ensure that the spam rate stays below the red line.

Thank you Top Deliverability for bringing this update to my attention yesterday!
