New Yahoo Postmaster updates allow monitoring spam complaints, keeping rates below 0.2%, and improving email deliverability compliance.

Yahoo Postmaster Updates Help Monitor Spam Reports Effectively

Yahoo recently introduced an updated Postmaster tool that now provides email addresses of individuals who manually mark messages as spam and sends their details to the specified reporting address.

When configured correctly, this tool allows you to monitor spam report complaints and maintain them below the mandatory 0.2% rate required for any email marketing efforts.

Therefore, it is highly recommended for email marketers to register with the YahooPostmaster tool, similar to the existing registrations with GooglePostmaster and the Microsoft JunkMailReportingProgram. This will help you keep spam rates under control.

With the new regulations, if more than 2 out of 1,000 recipients mark your emails as junk, this could soon lead to your emails being filtered into the spam folder.
